An address in Erith was one of three raided by the Met in dawn raids on Tuesday in connection with violence at a Wembley Stadium football match.

Millwall’s FA Cup semi-final with Wigan Athletic was marred by crowd violence and dawn raids were also carried out at addresses in Biggin Hill and Eltham, resulting in three arrests.

Three men, aged 27, 22 and 21, were arrested, bringing the total to 27 since the game on Saturday, April 13.

Det Ch Insp Andy Barnes said: “Large scale violence and disorder at football matches is completely unacceptable. People either attending matches expect to be able to do so in a safe and friendly environment.”

Anyone with information should call 0208 246 0076 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
