Erith and Thamesmead MP backs small businesses over energy company tactics

Shady practices by energy suppliers towards small businesses has led to a call for action from Erith and Thamesmead MP Teresa Pearce.
She said in parliament yesterday: “Energy companies continue to take advantage of small businesses. Energy costs are spiralling and competition in the market is failing to work effectively. This is harming the ability of local small businesses to grow, invest and create jobs.”
