Six young men charged with false imprisonment

A young man from Bexley is one of six people charged with false imprisonment after an investigation by the Met Police’s trafficking and kidnap unit.

Seventeen people have been arrested as part of the investigation, which took place in London and Luton.

Damilola Oiejobi, 21, of Aspen Green, Erith, has been charged along with Jordan Walker-Brown, 18, of Gospatrick Road, Tottenham; Jamal Parris, 18, of Garratt Lane, Tooting; Harry Levett, 20, of Nightingale Place, Woolwich; Leon Elcock, 20, of Alfriston Avenue, Croydon; and Spencer Musika, 18, of Congleton Grove, Woolwich.

All six have been remanded in custody and will appear at Southwark Crown Court on Friday, March 20.

The other eleven people arrested have been released on police bail until next month.
