An Erith man has been charged with conspiracy to rob


Erith man George Brockett has been charged with conspiracy to rob in connection with a £50,000 raid at a petrol station.

The 25-year-old, of Mangold Way, was arrested in connection with the cash in transit robbery in Cuxton Road, Rochester, on Wednesday of last week.

He will appear in Dartford Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

A 25-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy, both from Erith, have been arrested and are being held in a north Kent police station on suspicion of robbery. They had not been charged at the time of going to press. A 22-year-old woman from Gravesend has also been arrested but not charged.
