AN EXPERT is set to give an illuminating talk on a famous landmark.

Malcolm Youngs will host a talk with slides on Red House and its commissioner, William Morris, at central library, Bexleyheath on Thursday, May 20.

The home in Bexleyheath is considered to be one of the most important and influential buildings of the arts and crafts movement, inspiring designers, architects and gardeners since its design by Philip Webb in 1859.

Tickets for the talk are available in advance from the local studies and archive centre at the central library, priced £3.50. Call: 020 8836 7369 for further details.
