Scores of filmmakers have entered their movies into a festival in memory of Sidcup murder victim Rob Knox.

The Harry Potter actor was just 18 years old when he was murdered outside the Metro Bar in Station Road, Sidcup, almost five years ago.

The festival runs from Tuesday, May 29 through to the awards night on Wednesday, June 5 which is being hosted at Cineworld.

Festival director Michael Wearing said: “It is a credit to the local filmmaking community that their films have been selected for screening alongside some very high quality films from around the world.”

The event is ticket only. For more information email robknoxff@btinternet.com. Doors open at 6.30pm and screening starts at 7pm.
