Fire at Erith industrial park under investigation

The blaze was spotted this morning

Four fire engines were called out this morning (Wednesday) to deal with a fire at an industrial park in Erith.

The fire destroyed 30 tonnes of rubbish which was in a skip in Maypole Crescent.

London Fire Brigade was called 11.20am, and had brought the fire under control just before 1pm.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
