Four fire engines called to Sidcup house fire

Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers have been called to a fire at a house in Ramillies Road in Sidcup.

Part of the ground and first floor of the property are alight, as well as a range of outbuildings in the rear garden.

The brigade’s 999 control officers have taken 19 calls to the fire.

The brigade was called at 1.54pm.

Fire crews from Plumstead, Bexley and Sidcup fire stations are at the scene.

The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
