AN AMATEUR football club has been successful in its bid to serve alcohol and host entertainment in its grounds.

AN AMATEUR football club has been successful in its bid to serve alcohol and host entertainment in its grounds.

Bexley council has granted permission to Vickers, Crayford & Dartford Athletic Football Club in Oakwood, Old Road, Crayford, to serve alcohol and provide entertainment, at a meeting last Tuesday.

Staff in the function hall and function room of the club can now sell and supply alcohol Monday to Saturday, between 10am and 11pm and Sundays between 10am and 10.30pm.

Entertainment including plays, films, indoor sporting events, live music, dance, can also take place during the above times.

Adult entertainment is not allowed and all customers buying alcohol, who appear to be under 21, should be asked for identification.
