FOOTBALL players are needed for a seven-a-side team.

Bromley R and Bs was initially set up as a community treatment (ACT) group run by Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, which looks after the mental health of people in Bromley, Bexley and Greenwich, but has developed into a borough wide group for the community.

The team recently secured some funding for its own strip but urgently needs more players.

Manager Mark McManus Bromley R and Bs said: "Unfortunately we are in desperate need for new players to join the football team as the matches are seven-a-side and we tend to have only eight eager players.

"We need to raise the profile and encourage people to join. I have seen the team play first hand and am so impressed at how people within the team have progressed and developed and I don't just mean their football skills."

If you want to play for the R and Bs or would like to help out on the organisational side, email Mark at or Julian at or call 020 8676 8250.
