The fountains at Waterside Gardens in Crayford were switched back on Monday.

Among the guests to see the feature turned on, was local MP David Evennett.

The Conservative MP expressed delight at the return of the fountains.

He said: “I am delighted to be here today to see the fountains being switched back on.

“I’m sure they will be enjoyed by local residents over the summer period.”

Crayford ward councillors were also at the gardens, based on the bank of the River Cray in the town centre.
