FOUR men have appeared in court charged with the murder of a man who died after a fight in a town centre.

FOUR men have appeared in court charged with the murder of a man who died after a fight in a town centre.

Richard Price, 23, of Southover, Sundridge Park, was assaulted in an alleyway off Bromley High Street in Bromley town centre between the Empire cinema and Dino's café at approximately 11.40pm last Saturday.

Murat Karabeyaz, 24, of Burford Road, Bellingham, Michael Liddell, 19, of Holyoake Walk, Ealing, Param-Jit Theara, 24, of Ross Way, Eltham, and Jagtar Johal, 36, Blyth Road, Bromley, appeared at Bromley Magistrates yesterday.

All four were remanded in custody and are due to appear at the Old Bailey on January 11 next year.

The victim suffered massive head injuries and was taken to Princess Royal Hospital, Farnborough where he died on Tuesday morning at 10.10am.

Two men were detained by PCSOs at the scene of the crime and two men were arrested nearby soon afterwards.

They were all charged with murder at approximately 10pm on Tuesday after officers applied for extended warrants to keep the men at separate south London police stations following the attack.
