Four face Old Bailey jury for Halloween murder

FOUR men appeared in court charged with murdering a man who died after a fight.

Richard Price, 23, of Southover, Sundridge Park, was assaulted in an alleyway off Bromley High Street between the Empire cinema and Dino's café at around 11.40pm on October 31.

He suffered massive head injuries and was taken to Princess Royal Hospital, Farnborough, where he died last Tuesday morning at 10.10am.

Two men were detained by PCSOs at the scene of the crime and two men were arrested nearby soon afterwards.

They were all charged with murder last Tuesday night.

Murat Karabeyaz, 24, of Burford Road, Bellingham, Michael Liddell, 19, of Holyoake Walk, Ealing, Param-Jit Theara, 24, of Ross Way, Eltham, and Jagtar Johal, 36, Blyth Road, Bromley, appeared at Bromley Magistrates last Wednesday.

All four were remanded in custody and are due to appear at the Old Bailey on January 11 next year.
