Firefighters were called to a house in Bexleyheath last night after a garden shed caught fire, quickly spreading to nearby trees and a garage.

Four crews from Bexleyheath and Erith fire stations attended the blaze, which started in a back garden between two houses in Meadow Close, off Oaklands Road, at about 8.30pm.

They brought the fire under control within 10 minutes.
