Law will change next year

DOG owners can get their pets microchipped and tagged for free at Battersea Dogs’ and Cats’ Home next week.

The charity and Bexley police are running the event from 9am to 2pm on Thursday, May 21 in Sidcup, by the Five Arches Bridge in Foots Cray Meadows, North Cray Road.

Next year it will be a legal requirement for dog owners to have their pets microchipped.
