Free parking in Bexley over Easter weekend

PUBLISHED: 13:05 29 March 2012

Bexley council today announced it is waiving parking charges at the 12 town centre car parks for the Easter weekend.

They will be free from Good Friday (April 6) until Easter Monday (9).

Councillor for town centres Linda Bailey said: “We are committed to working with our town centres to promote all they have to offer.

“We hope people will come and spend the long holiday weekend supporting Bexley’s town centres and businesses.”

The Easter parking announcement comes after the confirmation in the council’s budget meeting at the end of February that there will be no increases in parking charges in the borough for the third year in a row.
