THE Times' Green Man columnist, Tom Hart Dyke, is to give a talk about his life and horticulture at a library.

The star of BBC2's Save Lullingstone Castle is to give a talk at Central Library, Bexleyheath, at 7pm on Wednesday, November 19.

The architect of Lullingstone Castle's World Garden was kidnapped in Columbia for nine months in 2000 whilst searching for rare orchids.

Since then he has taken to television and had his own book published, An Englishman's Home: The Adventures of an Eccentric Gardener.
