Trembling hands and sweaty palms are to be expected this morning as teenagers in Bexley collect their GCSE results.
We have photographers and reporters at schools across the borough capturing the morning, but be sure to send in your pictures, results and any stories you think might be interesting.
Last year Townley Grammar School, in Townley Road, Bexleyheath, came top of the GCSE class in Bexley, according to the Department for Education.
The Bexleyheath institution saw 100 per cent of its pupils achieve five A* to C grades for the second year running.
It was joined by the borough’s other grammar schools Beths, Bexley and Chislehurst and Sidcup in students achieving 96 per cent or more in that respect.
Bexley was above the national average with 64.9 per cent of pupils across the borough gaining five A* to C grades as opposed to 58.8 per cent.
Cleeve Park School, in Bexley Lane, Bexleyheath registered the lowest average scores in 2012, with 41 per cent of the eligible 180 students reaching five A* to C grades.
