Silicon Valley giant Google is coming to Sidcup to present a workshop for local businesses next month.
Is part of the company’s drive to help small businesses grow their internet presence.
Managing director of Google UK Dan Cobley said: “Our goal is to help businesses realise how easy it is to get online and contribute to the growth of their business and the local economy.
“We hope businesses will take advantage of this free advice.”
A study by a consultancy group claimed firms who have an online presence grow up to eight times faster than those that do not.
Old Bexley and Sidcup MP James Brokenshire is co-hosting the event.
He said: “I am sure that the expertise on hand will be of real interest and benefit to local small businesses.
“A successful online presence is becoming increasingly important for businesses based in Sidcup and successful small businesses mean a strong local economy.”
The workshop takes place in New Community Centre Church, Station Road, from 3pm to 5pm on Friday, February 8.
