TWO teenagers who raped a 15-year-old girl at gunpoint have been caged.

The boys, now aged 17 and 18, chased the student across Woolwich Common, where her screams for help were ignored by two women who passed by, on August 20 last year.

The attackers, who cannot be named for legal reasons, took her towards the rear of Ruegg House and Watling House, Woolwich Common, where they repeatedly raped her for an hour and threatened her with a gun.

They were sentenced at Inner London Crown Court last Friday.

The 17-year-old boy was sentenced to seven years after he was found guilty of rape and possession of a firearm.

The 18-year-old man was sentenced to five years and six months, after pleading guilty to rape.
