The series used the country house to film last October
Hall Place has been seen on screen in the new ITV series Fearless, which began on June 12.
The hall and staircase inside the Grade One listed Tudor country house doubles as the Masters’ parlour at King’s College Cambridge in the drinks function scene. Bexley cabinet member for environment and lesire, Peter Craske, said: “Hall Place is not only an historic destination for residents and tourists, but makes the ideal backdrop for filming. From the historic house’s distinctive checkerboard pattern masonry, to the famous Queen’s Beasts topiaries in the gardens.”
The scene involved all 60 of the cast and crew, as well as 30 extras when it was filmed for two days in October last year.
Fearless is inspired by real life lawyers Gareth Peirce and Helena Kennedy.
It follows London based solicitor Emma, played by Helen McCrory, who has spent her early career in Suffolk. She’s convinced her client has been wrongly convicted for the murder of a Suffolk schoolgirl.
