Happy Days legend Henry Winkler was the surprise guest who joined a flashmob in Bexleyheath to raise money for Comic Relief on Saturday (9).

More than 200 Rock Choir members from across south-east London came together in the Broadway to entertain members of the public as the build-up to Red Nose Day on Friday (15) gathers pace.

Rock Choir leader Michael Fricker said: “This year, Red Nose Day is about doing something funny for money, and there are several fundraising themes, including entertaining.

“We thought it was a great idea to surprise our local community with some fun entertainment Rock Choir style. We’re hoping it inspired people to donate money or organise their own fundraising events for Red Nose Day.”

More than £300 was raised.
