The Met Office has upgraded its heatwave warning for London and the south-east of England.

There is a 90 per cent risk of a heatwave in the area and weather experts have said temperatures could reach level three heat-health watch criteria, requiring healthcare services to help high-risk groups.

They could reach as high as 32C and this could cause problems for the very young, the elderly and ill people.
