Hundreds of people are expected to attend Remembrance Day services across Bexley this morning to pay their respects to those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in war.

The main services will be at 10.30am, at Christ Church, Broadway, Bexleyheath, and at the war memorial in Bexleyheath.

Where the services will take place:

Sidcup

10.45am. St John the Evangelist Church, Church Road. Followed by wreath-laying ceremony at the war memorial in The Green, Sidcup.

The mayor, Cllr Sharon Mass will be at the services and afterwards at the United Services Club, Main Road, Sidcup.

Crayford

10.30am. St Paulinus Church, Perry Street, Crayford, and at the war memorial in Mayplace Road.

Bexleyheath

10.30am. Christ Church, Broadway, Bexleyheath, and at the war memorial in Bexleyheath.

Thamesmead

10.30am, St Michael’s Church in Abbey Wood Road, Abbey Wood.

Royal British Legion Abbey Wood & Thamesmead.
