Hard-pressed families will be getting children's toys along with food packages from the Bexley Foodbank.
Delivery company FedEx donated 230 toys to the charity, which helps people in need from bases in Sidcup.
They were some of more than 8,000 delivered to foodbanks around the country run by the Trussell Trust.
Trust corporate partnerships manager Mike Partridge said: “The toys will help to brighten up the lives of children and families who are going through a time of crisis.”
