SMOKE bellowed an industrial business park opposite one of Britain s most notorious prisons.

SMOKE bellowed an industrial business park opposite one of Britain's most notorious prisons.

Firefighters from Woolwich and Plumstead were called to unit 119, near Hunter Plastics, in Nathan Way, Thamesmead, last Saturday at 12.19am.

The blaze near an old Ministry of Defence site and opposite Belmarsh Prison took firefighters one and a half hours to be put out. The cause is under investigation.
