Investigation underway into cause of Erith shed fire

Crews were called to the scene on Saturday

Fire crews in Erith have started investigating the cause of a fire which tore through an abandoned shed at the weekend.

Four fire engines were sent to the scene in West Street at 1.42pm on Saturday, May 20.

By 2.12pm, the fire had been put out, but not before the shed was damaged in the blaze.

There are no reports of any injuries in the fire.

Crews from Erith, Bexley and Plumstead fire stations were sent to the scene.
