KING of pop Michael Jackson has recruited one of the world's top choreographers to stage his This is It 50-date tour at the O2 Arena.
One of the most successful entertainers of all time will employ Kenny Ortega to co-ordinate the overall design of his last ever UK performances.
Ortega worked with the controversial superstar on his Dangerous and HIStory tours and has already begun the process of auditioning thousands of the world's best dancers, who are desperate to be part of the spectacle.
He said: "I am looking forward to the creative days ahead as we build a Michael Jackson experience like no other, and to ultimately arriving at the O2, a magnificent venue and a worldly place.
"I am thrilled to be a part of the team that is bringing Michael Jackson, the greatest entertainer of our generation, back to the stage and into the light and love of his devoted fans."
Ortega, whose mentor was Gene Kelly, recently directed and choreographed the three instalments of Disney's High School Musical.
He also produced and directed Barbra Streisand's Millennium tour and is a two-time Emmy award winner for his work as director and choreographer of the 2002 Winter Olympics opening and closing ceremonies in Salt Lake City, Utah.
