A PHOTOGRAPHER to the stars who is friendly with Katie Price - aka Jordan - and family has revealed what he thinks led to her shock break up with Peter Andre.

Times photographer Andy Barnes has spent a lot of time snapping the glamour model and her Mysterious Girl singer hubby Peter and said her diva ways may have led to the split.

Mr Barnes, who has photographed the couple at events including at Bluewater and Danson Park Festival, spilt all to the Times.

In an exclusive interview, he told us: "What I would say about Katie is that she is a very determined, very forthright woman and she knows what she wants. She can be very impatient and she doesn't suffer fools gladly.

"She also a savvy business woman and knows what her product is, and what's going to help her sell it.

"She's a woman in control of her life and I have seen that she can be very dismissive of people if she doesn't like them.

"So I'm not totally surprised that Peter has had enough. I think she is a bit too abrupt for him - he's a big softy really. He's a nice guy, although a bit more cautious around people he doesn't know."

Mr Barnes met the couple at Danson Park festival two years ago and again at her dressage premiere at Hickstead showground last June.

He added: "It's sad, because when I saw Peter at the Danson Park festival he was proclaiming his love for her up on stage, saying he was the happiest man in the world. He really loved her."

Last Friday Jordan hit the town in Bristol by herself and was pictured with her bra and boobs on show talking into the ear of a mystery man. Peter reportedly called for a divorce after seeing pictures of Jordan's antics.

On Monday they released a statement saying they are separating after four-and-a-half years, though they have only been married for three-and-a-half.

They wed in September 2005 after meeting on the ITV reality show I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.

They have two children together, Junior, three, and one-year-old Princess Tiaamii.

Footballer Dwight Yorke is the father of Jordan's disabled son Harvey, six.
