Knife-wielding Sidcup suspects arrested

Two men have been arrested for allegedly brandishing a knife in Sidcup High Street last night (May 15).

Police were called by Bexley Council’s CCTV team at 9.30pm, whose system is said to have picked up the incident.

The two men were arrested on suspicion of affray and possessing an offensive weapon and have been remanded in custody.

Bexley police would not comment on the specifics of the weapon and an investigation is ongoing.
