Teresa Pearce, Erith and Thamesmead MP, said: "The last Labour government has given us a more tolerant and equal society. Britain is now far more tolerant of different lifestyles and cultures. I am proud too of the minimum wage as it has lifted a lot of people out of poverty. I would like to see a Living Wage introduced in London.
