The deadline is fast approaching

The founder of the 2016 Bexley Business of the Year is urging the borough’s “incredibly talented” entrepreneurs not to miss Friday’s deadline for entries.

David White, managing director of ITRM Ltd., said last year’s win was a “wonderful milestone” which has had multiple benefits for the for the Sidcup-based firm.

With just days to go until Friday’s deadline for applications, Mr White encouraged other businesses to put their names forward for any of the 13 awards up for grabs at this year’s ceremony.

“We have a deep pool of incredibly talented, driven and diverse businesses in this borough, and I would urge them all to enter the 2017 Bexley Business Excellence Awards,” said Mr White.

“Being chosen as Business of the Year instilled a lot of pride throughout our business. It also gave us a lot of free publicity, which increased awareness of our brand, and has led to a lot of referral business.”

He added that staff morale and engagement was up since the win, and that their raised profile was helping ITRM attract an excellent standard of candidates for company vacancies.

Now in their fifth year, the Bexley Business Excellence Awards in association with Ocado feature 13 categories. Entry is free and firms can enter as many times as they like before Friday’s closing date.
