A DECISION on granting a controversial late licence to a nightclub has been delayed

A DECISION on granting a controversial late licence to a nightclub has been delayed.

Bromley council was due to decide last Thursday whether to let the Flamingo Park, in Sidcup Bypass, Sidcup, stay open until 3am.

The council said the postponement was due to agents acting on behalf of owner Adrian Pollock submitting information which needed to be considered. The council has yet to set a new date for a decision.

Residents living near the venue raised concerns about the close proximity of the club to an old people's care home and feared extended opening hours would cause anti-social behaviour. A council spokesperson said: "The agent for the applicant supplied additional late information just the day before, so it was withdrawn to give officers time to look at that.
