The mayor’s team London awards evening next Monday has potentially two winners from the Bexley borough.

Brampton Primary Academy is the only nominee in the ‘Unilever award’ category, whilst North West Kent Countryside Partnership was with nine other candidates in the ‘greening and cleaning’ section.

The awards ceremony will be hosted by the mayor of London, Boris Johnson, and will feature ambassadors for Team London such as double world record holder for blind speed skiing, Kevin Alderton, as well as others.

Mr Johnson said “Volunteers are at the heart of what make our city great, giving their time to improve the lives of others.

“These are the unsung heroes of our capital and this annual Team London celebration allows us to give them the recognition they truly deserve.”

We will be announcing the winners after they have been released on Monday evening.
