Man, 19, charged with drink-driving, failing to stop after van collides with Bexleyheath house

A teenager has been charged with drink-driving and failing to stop at the scene of an accident after a van collided with a house in Bexleyheath last week.

Thomas Woyen, 19, of Manor Way, Barnhurst, has been bailed to appear at Bexley Magistrates Court on November 22.

Police, firefighters and structural engineers were called after the Vauxhall Astra was in collision with the house in Merewood Road, at the junction with Eversley Avenue, at about 11.20pm on Wednesday.
