Man allegedly flees scene of Erith accident after pedestrian injured

A man allegedly fled the scene of an accident following a collision between a car and pedestrian in Erith.

The incident happened just before 10am in Harrow Manor Way yesterday morning and a 30-year-old male pedestrian was taken to King’s College Hospital in Camberwell.

His injuries were originally thought to be life-threatening but he is now in a stable condition.

The male 23-year-old driver of a Renault Clio attended Plumstead police station and helping police with their inquiries.

He is being investigated for driving without due care and attention and leaving the scene of an accident.
