A man has been charged with the murder of Thamesmead missing man Seyed Khan.

Imran Muhammad, 30, of Swindon Close, Seven Kings was also charged with perverting the course of justice on Saturday, February 3.

After a week-long missing person’s appeal, Mr Khan’s body was found in Ilford cemetery on February 1, and a post-mortem revealed that he died from “extensive head injuries”.

His family last saw him in Thamesmead at 5pm on January 24 when he left to go to work at A-Z Carpets, High Road, Ilford.

Muhammad appeared in custody at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Monday, February 5.

He has been remanded to appear at the Old Bailey on Wednesday, February 7
