Man charged over Northumberland Heath rape

A 39-year-old man has been charged with rape following an incident in Northumberland Heath last month.

Frederick Anderson Ehouni, of no fixed address, was also charged with theft relating the alleged attack in Bexley Road just after 3am on February 24.

He appeared in Woolwich Crown Court on Friday and the incident is being investigated by specialist rape and sexual assault unit Sapphire, based in Lewisham.
