A 51-year-old man has denied murdering a disabled Thamesmead resident.

Daha Mohamed is accused of slitting the throat of 56-year-old Colin Greenway at his Abbotts Close flat on June 15.

Mohamed, also of Abbotts Close, is scheduled to go on trial at the Old Bailey on January 27 next year.

Mr Greenway was wheelchair-bound having had his toes amputated.
