Man faces stab charge

A 21-YEAR OLD man has been charged with stabbing a man in broad daylight.

A 21-YEAR OLD man has been charged with stabbing a man in broad daylight.

The black man in his early 20s was stabbed at Anstridge Road, Avery Hill, Eltham, last Friday at around 10.45am.

The victim is currently in hospital and is described as being in a serious but stable condition.

John Baines, 21, of Anstridge Road has been charged with wounding with intent of causing GBH.

Another 30-year old man has been bailed to return on Tuesday.
