A man has been jailed for one month after being caught with heroin and cocaine.

39-year-old Tho Luu, of Colt Street, was found with the drugs in Thamesmead.

He was stopped at around 5pm on July 31, after police received information he had been involved in a drug deal in Harrow Manorway, and arrested.

He pleaded guilty to possession of heroin and cocaine at Bexley Magistrates Court on August 1.

Luu was jailed for a further three months in respect of a suspended prison sentence given to him on April 24 by East London Magistrates Court for theft.

Sgt Chris Molnar said: “This is a great example of partnership work with the community where residents had the confidence to inform officers of a drugs deal which has resulted in drugs being taken off the streets and an offender receiving a jail term where he will hopefully accept the help he will be offered.”
