A MAN was stabbed in the face with a shard of glass during an argument over a spilt drink in a pub.

A MAN was stabbed in the face with a shard of glass during an argument over a spilt drink in a pub.

Emergency services were called to the brawl outside The Trax Bar, Mill Row, Bexley High Street last Friday just after 11pm. He was taken to the Royal London Hospital where he had surgery on his face and was released from hospital on Monday.

Bexleyheath Police Constable, Karen Martin, said: "It is believed the suspect picked up the broken glass and used it as a weapon."
