Man stabbed in Bexleyheath Broadway

A 47-year-old man was stabbed in Bexleyheath Broadway last night.

He was taken to hospital in a stable condition after emergency services were called to the scene near McDonald’s at around 8.15pm.

A 48-year-old man was arrested at the scene in connection with the incident and was taken into custody in a south London police station.

A spokeswoman for the London Ambulance Service said: “We were called around 8.15pm to reports of a stabbing.

“Staff arrived within four minutes and the patient was conscious. We treated and stabilised him at the scene before he was taken to hospital by air ambulance.”
