A 28-year-old man is wanted in connection with a serious Belvedere assault.

Shkar Farouk was last seen on August 3 where he allegedly had an argument with another 28-year-old man, who was assaulted outside KA Barbers in Nuxley Road.

He is an Iranian Curd with no known ties to the community and is described as 5ft 10in tall with black receding hair.

Det Ch Insp Gary Holmes said: “This type of incident is very rare for this borough, it was a particularly violent assault from an argument over just £80.

“The victim was badly cut up and will carry the scars for the rest of his life. Under no circumstances should members of the public approach the suspect but immediately call 999 or Bexley CID.”

Mr Farouk is also wanted by police in connection with burglaries in Stratford and Hendon as well as the UK Border Agency.

If you have any information call Bexley CID on 020 8284 9144. To remain anonymous call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
