Mayor hoping people club together for charity

A GOLF day is being organised by a mayor to raise money for carers in the community.

A GOLF day is being organised by a mayor to raise money for carers in the community.

Nigel Betts, Mayor of Bexley, is to hold the sporting day at Sidcup Golf Club on Friday, May 9, in aid of Crossroads - a Bexley carers' charity.

An 18-hole round of golf for a team of four will cost £140, and the day will include snacks, dinner and an evening of live entertainment.
