More than 30 firefighters tackle blaze in Thamesmead

The fire was on Nathan Way

Six fire engines were called out to a fire at a disused recycling warehouse in Nathan Way, Thamesmead earlier today.

35 firefighters tackled the blaze, after receiving a call at 11.30 from someone in a nearby building.

No one was injured in the fire, which had been brought under control by 1.46pm.
