Motorcyclist dies after hitting parked car in Sidcup

There have been no arrests

A 20-year-old motorcyclist died on Sunday after reportedly colliding with a parked car in Sidcup.

Police were called to Maylands Drive just after 5am along with ambulance crews.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and next of kin have been informed.

Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are carrying out enquries, but there have been no arrests.

Police believe there were no other parties involved, but are appealing for witnesses to the accident.

A post-mortem examination is expected to take place.
