A MOTHER who allegedly set a teenager on fire is to be tried for GBH with intent.

A MOTHER who allegedly set a teenager on fire is to be tried for GBH with intent.

Georgina Clarke-Webber, 19, of Churchbury Road, Eltham, was remanded in custody after a nine-minute hearing at Woolwich Crown Court last Tuesday .

The mother of a baby boy was accused of dousing a 15-year-old girl with flammable liquid near Middle Park Avenue, Eltham, at 4pm on June 15.

The attack left the teenage victim in a coma. The trial is due at Woolwich Crown Court on September 8 and is expected to last five days.

Clarke-Webber also has the opportunity to enter a plea at a police and case management hearing on August 5.
