A WOMAN is the latest person to be charged with the murder of a teenager whose body was found in a recycling truck.

A WOMAN is the latest person to be charged with the murder of a teenager whose body was found in a recycling truck.

Amanda Alden, 29, from Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, is the second person to be charged with the murder of 17-year-old Nathan Lyons, from Birmingham. His decomposed body was found at Viridor Waste in Century Wharf, Crayford Creek, Crayford, on May 13. Ms Alden appeared before Redditch magistrates on Monday accused of murdering the teenager. She was remanded in custody until May 29.

Scott Hancox, 34, of Fownhope Close Redditch,appeared at Worcester Crown Court last Thursday also charged with murdering the teenager. He was remanded in custody to reappear on September 15 .

The cause of death is still unclear.
