A MURDER trial will start next year after a second man was charged with the crime last week. Michael Henry, 38, of Roupell Road, Streatham Hill, appeared at Greenwich Magistrates court last Friday charged with the murder of Sunny Eze on March 4 this year. Eze, 35, a Nigerian, was found dead in a groundfloor flat at Vyvyan House, Campbell Close, Plumstead. On March 25 unemployed Mark Anthony Brown, 34, of no fixed abode, was charged with the murder and with possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence and was remanded in custody.
The pair are now due to stand trial together at the Old Bailey on March 15 next year. Brown has pleaded not guilty and Henry, who has also been remanded in custody, has yet to enter a plea.
